Tyl to write the text of Czech national anthem?
The Malešov fortress (malešovská tvrz) towers over the village, which played a significant role in the famous Hussite Battle of Malešov. Since then, it has undergone sensitive reconstruction and serves visitors as a living reminder and interactive museum. You can try on knights’ armour, and after booking, you can see medieval cuisine, and they also have a busy cultural calendar here. The historical scenery hosts theatre performances; stylish witch burnings, St. Martin’s Day celebrations, and an Advent fair are held here.
Thirst and hunger will definitely not overtake you in Malešov. The old tradition of brewing beer is continued here by the Přátelský pivovar (Friendly Brewery), where fresh and lovingly tapped beer is accompanied by honest gastronomy. At least four types of draught beer await you, and weekly specials on the menu. Beer connoisseurs will appreciate the various unfiltered specials and the possibility of excursions into the brewery itself.
The experiences in Malešov do not end there. Krčma na konci světa (The Tavern at the End of the World) also tempts with delicious flavours, but here you must order your gastronomic experience in advance. Not only will you be pleasantly fed with delicacies prepared from regional ingredients, but the romantic spaces will draw guests back to the old days. The inn is part of an adventure camp that provides luxury accommodation in nature. See for yourself how glamping combines modern comfort with the atmosphere of rural tranquillity.
