Situated on the grounds of a former farm the owners have been meticulously restoring orchards, field paths, tree-lined avenues, and ponds since 2018. While rooted in agriculture, Myšlín Gardens extend beyond mere cultivation of vegetables and seasonal blooms. Here, tradition meets innovation to promote both human health and environmental stewardship.

A highlight awaits at the garden bistro, offering a daily menu of delectable dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients and refreshing herbal lemonades. Catering to all tastes, including vegetarians, this bistro is a favored stop for cyclists, hikers, and motorists alike.

Herbs are not only cultivated for culinary use but also transformed into regional products, meticulously crafted without the use of chemicals. Beyond raised beds and greenhouses, the estate offers spaces for exercise and relaxation.

Nestled within the gardens are two charming cottages, constructed from natural materials using ancient techniques. The larger, known as the “Slámovna,” accommodates both tranquil retreats and corporate team-building events. Here, the entire estate harmoniously blends with nature, offering not just respite but also inspiration for a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

• Interesting fact: Adjacent to the Slámovna stands Žižka’s Oak, an ancient tree with a storied history spanning over 800 years. Legend has it that during the Hussite Wars, soldiers, including the priest Petr from Cimburk and Jan Žižka, once gathered beneath its branches. Sadly, their meeting ended in tragedy when the priest was unjustly accused of treason and hanged on this very spot.
