Šemanovický Důl Valley

Šemanovický důl in the Kokořín Region is a valley lined with sandstone rocks of various shapes, in which rock dwellings are carved. An introduction game awaits children here.

The most well-known site in Šemanovický důl is the partly man-made Klemperka Cave, located in a cliff face at the mouth of the valley. This formation of remarkable dimensions was built along a horizontal crack in the sandstone rock. In the lower part of the cave there should be an underground passage, to which the legend of the robber Klemper is connected, who allegedly lived here at the beginning of the last century before being killed not far from here by local farmers.

The entire area can be explored in an entertaining way intended primarily for children. A game has been prepared just for them, which will take them through the most interesting places of the Šemanovický důl mine, and after completing it, they will receive a well-deserved reward.
