Šibeniční vrch resort offers year-round activities, from skiing to bowling, with cozy accommodations for a perfect getaway.
In winter, grab your skis; in summer, bring your bike or caravan—Šibeniční vrch resort offers year-round recreation for all visitors.
Looking for a ski or snowboard adventure just 20 minutes from Prague? Take the D1 highway, exit at 21 (Mirošovice), and head to Mnichovice, home to Šibeniční vrch resort. This family-friendly ski area features a snow-covered slope perfect for beginners, a ski school, rental facilities, a gentle kids’ slope with a lift, and even a snow carousel.
The slopes are playfully named after beloved storybook characters—Bobeš, Mikeš, and Pašík—as a tribute to Josef Lada, who was born in nearby Hrusice. His legacy is woven throughout the region, and visitors are welcomed by a larger-than-life statue of the famous cat Mikeš.
There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the ski slopes. Play tennis in the indoor hall, try squash, bowling, or beach volleyball. Outside, you’ll find a pool, a children’s playground with a zip line, and a goat farm, where the animals graze on the green slopes in summer.
At the heart of the resort stands a stunning wooden lodge—one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Inspired by Tyrolean architecture, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and delicious homemade cuisine, making it the perfect place to relax after an active day.
Immerse yourself in the resort’s cozy, wood-scented atmosphere. Choose from five hotel rooms in the main lodge or stay in a charming, fully equipped log cabin. The surrounding rolling hills, dotted with cycling trails and scenic spots, invite adventure and relaxation alike. In summer, extend your visit at the on-site caravan camping area.
Just under two kilometers from the sports paradise, you’ll find an oasis of relaxation at Myšlín Eco-Gardens. This charming spot features a farm, a garden bistro brimming with treats, and a peaceful area perfect for family downtime or a unique team-building event. Nearby, the Ondřejov Astronomical Observatory is also worth a visit—open for tours every weekend from May to September.
