Ride the Waterways: A Scenic Loop from Zruč nad Sázavou

This nearly 40 km circular route takes you through the fascinating sights of Posázaví, all connected by water. You’ll start at Zruč Castle, where you’ll discover the history of canoeing and the Sázava River. At the Kácov Brewery, you’ll learn why water is considered liquid gold. Before you set off from Zruč nad Sázavou Chateau, take a moment to explore its beautiful gardens and exhibits. At the Zručský Dvůr complex, you can visit the canoeing museum, climb the Kolowrats Tower, or indulge in nostalgia at the World of Bricks and Dolls.

The first few kilometers take you to a scenic viewpoint at Chabeřické Rocks, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the winding Sázava River and the railway lines. Then it’s off to Kácov.
