Don’t let the name fool you. You definitely don’t have to go to Prague. The largest amusement aquapark is located in Čestlice, on the border of the Central Bohemia region and the capital. There is a Water World, an extensive Sauna World, a luxurious SPA & Wellness Centre, a modern Fitness Centre and a number of restaurants as well as a hotel.

Which world should you start with? With an area of over 9,000 m², the Water World is the largest aquapark in Central Europe. It consists of three palaces, offering something for everyone. You can swim there in every season, and there are so many attractions that you won’t know which one to start with. Conquer the wild river and get carried away by the laser show. Slides and water slides, including the longest one in the Czech Republic, will for sure keep you entertained.

Fun fact: The total length of the slides within the Water World is 860 m. There is a 450 m long river winding through the entire aquapark. There is also a wave pool and a spacebowl – spiral at high speed and get your adrenaline pumping.

The extensive Sauna World is an oasis of peace, relaxation and health. It comprises a complex of 14 different types of saunas and warming rooms, Finnish saunas, Roman baths and outdoor saunas. Lovers of relaxation, massages and facial treatments will find their paradise in the luxurious SPA & Wellness Centre. The modern, fully air-conditioned, two-storey Fitness Centre has an extensive cardio area with a range of well-known as well as the newest cardio machines, which will help you get in great shape.

Where to head next?

One gets hungry quickly while frolicking in the water, so there are several restaurants and bars, including a pool bar. Want to stretch your experience over several days? Stay at the local Aquapalace Hotel Prague and discover the surroundings of the aquapark. The neighbouring Průhonický Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, invites you to take a romantic stroll. Hop onto public transport and discover the nooks and crannies of Prague’s city centre. The nearby town of Říčany is the gateway to the Lada region.
