Experience a ride through the history of car manufacturer ŠKODA AUTO, where you will see cars, themed films, meet contemporaries and explore documents displayed on more than 1,800 m² of exhibition space. Where? Right in the historic production halls of the car manufacturer.

What can you look forward to in the permanent exhibition? Its main theme is the harmony of Tradition, Evolution and Precision. Discover three worlds full of experiences with a special emphasis on all that is exciting, informative and surprising. A mixture of cars and stories winds through the exhibition like a red thread, staged in a multimedia and interactive way. It will be up to you whether you look at the cars and exhibits, the pictures and films or embark on a deeper reading.

• Interesting fact: Václav Laurin and Václav Klement founded a joint venture in Mladá Boleslav in 1895. ŠKODA is one of the oldest car brands in the world. The story of these two ambitious men has been brought to life by the museum in an authentic location – in the former production halls where cars were manufactured until 1928.

The museum is always in motion. It hosts many temporary exhibitions as well as one-off or recurring events. The varied displays change throughout the year. In addition to tours in many languages, additional services are offered, for example, for groups or for children. A visit to the museum can also be extended to include a tour of the adjacent contemporary production facilities. You will enjoy a fascinating journey through the history (and present) of cars.

• Tip for you: The museum boasts a new multifunctional “Laurin & Klement Forum” hall and the modern Café/Restaurant VÁCLAV – take a pleasant break during your tour.

But your visit to Mladá Boleslav doesn’t have to end with the tour of the ŠKODA Museum. You can try out the flight and pilot simulators at the Metoděj Vlach Aviation Museum, which is located right next to the airport. There is also a café where you can watch small planes landing and taking off. Or head to the castle where the Museum of Mladá Boleslav is located. Information panels with audio spots in several languages are decorated with metal elements, so you can easily find them.
